"As a busy mother of 4 children and a business owner, I understand the challenges parents face in raising their children with healthy eating habits. It can seem like an endless cycle of breakfasts, lunches, and dinners and it’s not always easy to get home cooked meals with fresh ingredients on the table everyday. Packaged food and take-out can be a lifesaver when you are crunched for time and you have hungry mouths to feed. The turning point came for me when I rounded up my kids in the kitchen and taught them how to prepare very basic, but fresh dishes from scratch. As they became more independent in the kitchen, it allowed us to eat healthy home cooked meals on a regular basis without me having to rush home and prepare it all on my own"
